Skagit Women in Business Legacy Scholarship
ABOUT
The Skagit Women in Business Legacy Scholarship was established in honor of the former local nonprofit organization Skagit Women in Business. This scholarship continues its legacy by providing annual scholarships to local Skagit women who have taken a 1-year minimum break from their education and desire to return to an accredited vocational school, college, or university. This scholarship opportunity is available to incoming and current college students who have taken a 1+ year break from school.
SKAGIT WOMEN IN BUSINESS LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must be residents from Skagit County who have taken a minimum of a 1-year break from school (purpose/reason for the break is required within the application), and are returning to school to seek a higher-education degree or professional certificate/training program at any accredited college or university. Applicants must reside in Skagit County unless temporarily attending college elsewhere with a desire to reside in and contribute to the Skagit County Community.
FUNDING AMOUNT
The scholarship is a minimum of $1,000, amount to be determined annually.
