Instructions for nonprofit organizations:

The Skagit Community Foundation is proud to partner with the Anacortes Women's Giving Circle to help fulfill their mission.
​
​This Circle represents a group of community-minded women of all ages and diverse backgrounds 
who understand that when they pool their giving, they can better support a worthy cause or fund an important project that will impact their whole community.  

​
AWGC seeks to demonstrate kindness in action, a life-affirming generosity, and a model for support of community improvements. 
Grant Guidelines and Details:
  • The Anacortes Women's Giving Circle awards grants to nonprofit organizations that have a positive impact on the Anacortes-area community 
  • Applications for 2026 will be accepted November 1, 2025 - January 30, 2026
  • The Theme for the 2025-2026 Giving Cycle:  Strengthening Children, Youth, & Families: Supporting the well-being and success of young people and the families who raise them
  • The grantmaking and donation processing is managed by the Skagit Community Foundation
  • The request range for grants is between $5,000-$15,000

  1. Access the Skagit Community Foundation's grant system using the link or button below
  2. Log-in or register
  • If you do not have an account, it is a simple process to register on the Skagit Community Foundation grant site
  • You'll need your organization's E.I.N. & primary contact information​

AWGC Giving Cycle:
  • Membership Kickoff & Theme Selection: October 23rd, 2025
  • Grant application window: November 1, 2025 - January 30, 2026
  • Award Decisions: by May 31, 2026

2025-2026 Theme:   Strengthening Children, Youth, & Families: Supporting the well-being and success of young people and the families who raise them
 
Local women interested in learning more about the Circle and becoming a contributing member will also find directions for joining on the website.  Membership is for one year only and is renewable each year by donation.
