The Skagit Community Foundation provides a vehicle for donors to establish charitable endowments for good for ever in Skagit County.

TESORO ANACORTES REFINERY SURVIVORS FUND

The Tesoro Anacortes Refinery Survivors Fund has been established in honor of the seven employees and families affected by the tragedy at the Anacortes refinery. Please click here to see more details of this fund.


NEW FUND

The Skagit Tennis Court Improvement Fund has been established "to cover the remaining two Joan Armstrong Tennis Courts located on the Skagit Valley College Campus. A generous donor as agreed to a "2:1" match up to $200,000 from individuals and organizations. The maximum donor's contribution will be $400,000.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: The fund will be writing a check to Skagit County on July 7, 2010 to begin construction on covering the 5th and 6th Joan Armstrong Tennis Courts. The generous donor has increased the match to "4:1" for contributions received by July 6, 2010.
