SCF Welcomes New Board Member:
James Sanders

The Skagit Community Foundation is excited to announce the addition of James Sanders to the Board of Directors.

James brings extensive leadership experience serving the city as the Battalion Chief of the Mount Vernon Fire Department. 

Chief Sanders studied Fire Service Administration at Eastern Oregon University and then went on to complete his Master's Degree in Leadership, Disaster Planning, & Executive Fire Officer through Grant Canyon University. James is a member of the Mount Vernon Rotary Club and has served in executive positions for IAFF Local 1983. He lives in Mount Vernon with his wife Missy and their three children.
