Laura is a third generation Skagitonian. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Washington State University. She also graduated from Willamette University College of Law where she was an editor and published author of the Willamette Law Review, the Outstanding Woman Law Graduate, and the recipient of the Dr. Martin Luther King Award.

Laura, a principal at Skagit Law Group, PLLC, is a business and real estate attorney as well as an involved member of our Skagit County community. She has volunteered in a number of school, community, and civic organizations including as classroom volunteer and student mentor, a Board member of the Mount Vernon Public Schools Foundation, a member of the Skagit Valley Family YMCA Building Campaign, Co-chair of the Citizens for Mount Vernon Schools’ bond and levy campaigns, and as a member of the Mount Vernon School District Citizens’ Advisory Committee.
