Chris Cammock
Retired Mount Vernon Police Chief Mount Vernon, WA Chris Cammock grew-up in Mount Vernon attending grade school, middle school and graduating from Mount Vernon High School. He’s also a graduate of Skagit Valley College and Central Washington University. After college, he returned to Mount Vernon and was hired by the Mount Vernon Police Department where he spent 35 years retiring in June 2024 as Chief of Chief. He and his wife Shaun (Burlington native and lifelong Skagitonian) have been married for 35 years. Their daughter Jaycy works for Skagit County and they have a grand-puppy Bessi. Chris served on the Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation for 3+ terms, and has been a member of Skagit Rotary Club member for eight years. He currently volunteers as coach for the Burlington High School Boys and Girls tennis program and has for over ten years. He has a long tenure with the Mount Vernon High School Foundation and served on the Salem Lutheran Church Council. |
