A Charitable Designated Fund Supporting
New Food Access Partnership
New Food Access Partnership

SCF is pleased to announce the establishment of The Bow Food Pantry Designated Fund, a new charitable initiative created to support food access and essential household needs for individuals and families in the Bow community and surrounding areas.
Operating on the third Sunday of each month at the Hobson Road Fire Station in Bow from 12:00-2:00pm, The Bow Food Pantry has become a welcoming and trusted community resource — and notably, the only regular food distribution opportunity currently available on a Sunday in the area. Since November 2025, The Bow Food Pantry has served guests from towns throughout Skagit county. In partnership with the Community Action of Skagit County and its Skagit Food Distribution Center, this new Fund helps provide a reliable pathway for purchasing and distributing food resources in a way that stretches community donations further through bulk purchasing, coordinated food sourcing from local farms and businesses, and expanded access to available inventory and support systems. |

The Bow Food Pantry intentionally offers both staple and culturally relevant foods, including items such as masa de maíz, beans, fresh fruits and vegetables, and other essential grocery products that reflect the needs and preferences of the community members being served.
In addition to food distribution, a dedicated Hygiene Items Sub-Fund has also been established to support the purchase of everyday household and personal care necessities that are often difficult for families to afford or access through traditional assistance programs. These items may include soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes, feminine hygiene products, laundry detergent, household cleaning supplies, and similar essentials that help support health, dignity, and stability at home. |
Community members interested in supporting The Bow Food Pantry Designated Fund can make charitable contributions through SCF to help expand food access and provide essential household items for local residents in need.
