Our mission at The Skagit Community Foundation is to enhance the social, cultural, education and health programs for residents of the greater Skagit Community.

The Foundation disburses grants to nonprofit organizations recognized as public charities exempt from income tax under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The Skagit Community Foundation receives grant proposals year round but reviews them twice a gear. All grants are reviewed by the Grants & Programs Committee and are approved by the Board of Directors.

Grant Cycle Deadlines:

April 15th - Application deadline for grants to be announced by July 1st

October 15th - Application deadline for grants to be announced by January 1st
