Community Funds

The donor allows The Skagit Community Foundation the discretion to use available grant dollars for a broad range of community issues. This provides the Foundation the opportunity to respond to changing community needs that often cannot be anticipated at the time the gift is made.

• The Skagit Community Needs Endowment was established in 2006 to provide a permanent fund to create income and appreciation for application towards the various needs and charitable programs of the greater Skagit County community. It is not intended that the principal of the fund be expended but that income, earnings and appreciation only be used to meet these needs.
