The Skagit Community Foundation is a collection of many separate funds established by individual, families, charitable organizations and corporations - creating a community of donors. The funds are pooled and invested and a percentage of the income is distributed back to the Skagit community as directed by the fund or by grantmaking.

The Skagit Community Foundation manages over 45 funds. Total assets as of December 31, 2007 equaled $3,109,037. Grants totaled $148,115 in 2007.

Provide a means for your legacy to be directed to enhance the social, cultural, education and health programs for residents of the greater Skagit Community.

1. Promote philanthropic and charitable giving in the greater Skagit community.

Stewards of the assets received and entrusted to the Foundation.
